The Master Cleanser and Me
The time has come to give the Master Cleanser Diet a try for myself. If I’m gonna write about this diet, I intend to base my articles on experience, not just research. So at the end of a rather painless day, I’m ready to share with you the journey I’ve just embarked on.
But let’s start with the basics!
The Master Cleanser Diet Phases!
This diet comes with 3 phases.
1.The Ease-In Phase
During this phase you mentally and physically prepare yourself for the diet. You reduce intake of solid foods, caffeine consumption, you switch to raw foods and juices and then you go into the actual diet.
This part you can skip, but if will help you transition into the fast.
2.The Actual Diet Phase
This is the 10-30 days of self discipline and motivation!
3.The Ease-Out Phase
Now you have to slowly switch back to solid foods, but you have to do this slowly. Otherwise, you might end up feeling sick and constipated for days!
How long should I stay on the diet?
A minimum of ten days are required to get the benefits of the Master Cleanser. 40 days is the maximum you should stay on this diet.
What are the rules of the Master Cleanser?
It’s pretty simple. All you do is drink a special lemonade, lots of water and occasionally some laxative tea. You do a salt water flush every other day and you don’t eat anything solid for the entire time.
You’ll drink about two liters of lemonade throughout the day and probably another two of plain water. The more water you can drink the better! You’ll also be drinking about two coups of laxative tea every day, to ease the detoxification process. The Salt Water Flush is an important part and you’ll have to do this daily or every other day.
What are the benefits of the Master Cleanser Diet?
As the name suggests, the point of the diet is detoxification. It promises to get rid of years, perhaps decades of waste stored up in your intestines. Once you get rid of all the harmful substances from your body you’ll start feeling and looking amazing! Your skin will literally glow!
Detoxification through the Master Cleanser Diet is also a good way to get over any addictions, from nicotine, caffeine and alcohol to those added sugars and conservatives in processed foods, that we don’t even realized we’re hooked on.
Weigh loss is the ultimate benefit associated with the Master Cleanser. On a 10 day diet you can expect to lose 10 lbs. But most people report weight loss of over 18 lbs for a period of 10 days!
